Job Description
About Aidapt
Aidapt is an AI consultancy serving mid-market businesses across the Middle East and Africa. We help companies move from "AI is interesting" to AI being part of how they actually operate.
We deliver in sprints — discovery, build, train, ship — usually inside 6 to 12 weeks per engagement. We are a ClickUp Solutions Partner, work with Snowflake on the data side, and integrate a handful of other best-in-class platforms across workflow, data, and communications.
We do not do PowerPoint strategy. We build the thing, train the team, and stay close enough to keep it working after we leave.
The Role
We are hiring a ClickUp Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end ClickUp builds for mid-market clients and design the agentic AI layer that sits on top of them.
You will own the technical design and delivery of multiple parallel client engagements, shape new opportunities alongside the business development team, and codify reusable patterns into our delivery playbook so the practice scales beyond any one person.
You will be one of the most technical people in the company on workflow automation, working closely with the Senior AI Engineer, and expected to make architecture calls without supervision.
What You Will Own
Workspace architecture — Design ClickUp workspaces for clients of 50 to 500 users. Make the foundational calls: hierarchy, spaces, custom statuses, custom task types, custom fields, permissions model, sharing logic.
Automation and integration — Build native ClickUp Automations, plus integrations to client systems via Zapier, Make.com, n8n, and the ClickUp API. Connect ClickUp to CRMs, billing systems, communication platforms, and data warehouses.
Agentic AI layer — Design and ship AI agents inside and around ClickUp using ClickUp Brain, Super Agents, and n8n-based agentic workflows. Work with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI), retrieval-augmented generation patterns, and structured prompt design.
Discovery and scoping — Run technical discovery on new prospects. Translate messy business workflows into a buildable scope, an honest timeline, and a realistic effort estimate.
Client-facing delivery — Lead sprint reviews. Train end users. Handle the technical questions that come up post-go-live. This is not a back-room implementation role.
Reusable patterns — Capture every solution into a template, SOP, or playbook so the practice scales beyond any one architect.
How We Work
Sprint-based delivery, weekly client reviews, transparent build logs inside ClickUp. Async-first on documentation, sync where it matters for trust and decisions. We use ClickUp ourselves for everything — your workspace skills will be visible internally before any client sees them.
What This Role Is Not
Not a pure project manager. Not a pure developer. Not a sales role. Not a training-only role. You are the technical architect; engagement project management, commercial conversations, and pure dev work sit elsewhere.
Requirements
Must-Haves
- 3+ years implementing ClickUp for paying clients, including at least one engagement at 100+ users.
- Demonstrated depth across ClickUp's core architecture: Spaces / Folders / Lists hierarchy, Custom Fields, Custom Task Types, Custom Statuses, Automations, Dashboards, Forms with conditional logic, Templates, all View types, Permissions, Sprints.
- Strong hands-on with at least two of: Zapier, Make.com, n8n.
- Working comfort with the ClickUp API and REST API authentication patterns more broadly.
- Shipped at least one production agentic AI workflow — a workflow that uses an LLM with tool use, structured prompts, and routing logic to do real work. We want to see the build, not the certificate.
- Excellent written and spoken English. You will write specs, run client calls, and train end users.
- Comfortable working across GCC hours (broadly 9am-6pm GST) for client overlap.
Nice-to-Haves
- ClickUp Verified Consultant certification (individual or via a prior employer).
- n8n certification or significant public n8n community contribution.
- Experience implementing ClickUp for clients outside your home market — especially MEA, UK, or US clients.
- Prior background in revenue operations, business operations, agency operations, or technical project management.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API platforms, Snowflake, or modern BI tools.
- Hands-on with Claude API, OpenAI API, or similar at the code level (not just the UI).
Benefits
Engagement and Compensation
Full-time Independent Contractor engagement under UAE (Sharjah) law. We pay in USD on a monthly retainer, with a performance bonus tied to engagement outcomes and reusable assets shipped into our delivery library.
Equipment allowance and a learning budget covering ClickUp University, n8n, and one major AI conference per year.
Compensation is competitive and benchmarked against equivalent ClickUp Solutions Partner roles globally — not against local salary norms. We pay for the work, not for the location.
What Else You Get
- Remote-first, async-friendly working culture across India, Pakistan, and the UAE.
- A practice built around teaching, not gatekeeping — direct access to the Senior AI Engineer and our delivery leads.
- Real exposure to MEA mid-market clients across multiple industries — banking, retail, real estate, professional services.
- Visible work — every architecture decision lives in ClickUp where the rest of the team can see, learn from, and build on it.
- A learning runway in agentic AI that very few traditional consulting roles offer.
How to Apply
We do not read cover letters. Send us three things:
- A 5-minute Loom walking us through a ClickUp workspace you have architected — focus on the hierarchy decisions, the automation that does the most work, and one dashboard you are proud of.
- A 3-minute Loom or written walkthrough of one agentic AI workflow you have shipped — what it does, what it is built on, where it routes.
- A short note (under 250 words) on the hardest scoping mistake you have made on a ClickUp engagement, and what you would do differently.
We shortlist within 7 days. Process: written response review → 60-minute technical conversation → paid mini-build (2-4 hours, paid at standard contractor rates) → offer.
